The folk park features reconstructions of historic 19th-century cottages and buildings, with a period-style main street. Old tools, furniture and artefacts are displayed and there is an old home bakery and peat fires in some of the cottages. Situated between Limerick and Ennis in County Clare, Bunratty is also an ideal location for touring the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Aillwee Caves and King John?s Castle and the Hunt Museum in Limerick. The village boasts hotels, craft shops, restaurants and the famous Durty Nelly's pub and restaurant, one of the most famous traditional pubs in Ireland.
